Guns, The Other White Meat

Don’t take my gun

I might need it to kill

Myself tomorrow

I might need it to

Shoot my neighbor

I might need it to

Feel braver

There’s no telling

What that gun

Can do for my freedom

It’s best if I keep

It with the

Keys to my car

I might need it

When it won’t start

That gun will help me

With my gang war

It will help me

Fight a purse snatcher

It will help me

Salute the liberty statue

It might even get me

A medal of valor

I need that gun

To shoot a deer

To make people

Do things out of fear

To make me feel

The illusion of freedom

To make people listen

To my points and see them

From my stand of righteousness

It’s best if you leave my gun

Where it lands

I might need it

To protect my

Cold dead hands

My mom will need one

When they bury my body

The priest will need one

When reading the sermon

God will have one

When I reach the gates

I need my gun

To bless these United States.
