Capacity

Friends gathered notice

By their immeasurable capacities

For alcohol

Is that why old people

Wear neon?

To be noticed?

We all just try

To show us something

Interesting to impress

Big yellow vests

And a Wienhards

Wow.

My eyes are wide

And as long as we’re

Out of hiding

I’d like to hand out

A confiding finger tip

Just barely stick it

In the pie

How nice for a flavor

Taste of making

Re acquaintances

Old friends

Gathered to notice

Immeasurable capacities

We’ve all got the gusto inside

This is the time

And place

Where I am

Grabbing at capacity

Strength in visions

Tucked away in my

Chest of enumerable first

As they pulse the cavity

So much more to fill

One place in time

Where the frothy rush

Of consistency pushes

With love for acceptance

Not always colliding with

Approval

The ocean seems so full

To fulfill

I’ll keep it in my chest

Cavity with all of its

Capacity and hope

It fits the bill

Least I over charge

It leaving ahead the sand

It’s nicer where is stand

And save time for cigarettes

Like the view

Oh, how they take away

Your breath
