Bath
Warm water for
Toes sifting through
The tub
Waiting as the moment
Of waist high
To push the warmth
Into my spine
Submerged in a bath
Moments passing
Always
And passing
Time to relax
Until the next
Time to relax
In this wash
Of foam against
The chest
Of knees coming up
For breath
Lather stripping
Down the dirt
Into murk
The water
Now that’s risen
To our necks
Underneath and soaking
Steam rises past our
Eyes
Longer longest time
Elapses, feeling
Wrinkles settle in
Rising up above our
Skin
Prompts us from within
Rise ourselves where
We got in
