Dignity

I’ve always ushered

To a closed knocking

Door as I did

As I handed you in

And we sat on the

Couch, laughing it out

About the small ordeals

Of the last hours that

Past since we saw

Each other last

Clicking out a what to do

There’s boredom and

A lack of room to breath in

We can watch a flick or two

Subtle under toes and passes

People wanting to be grasped

I’m searching for some significance

When you passed between us

Innocence of love

That was then and

This is now, but how

Come now you

Seem to be a lie

Am I wrong, or even though

You speak sweet

Is it just provoking for the sheets

Do you even care

How dare you come in here

And take my dignity

Well, you can’t

So there.
