After Matthew (pt. 2)

Let’s bring in the various

We’ll have all the sought for

We’ll forget all we

Fought for today

No worries to stare at us

The water loves the land

The sea will hold the

Sand where we stay

The food falls from the trees

The air conditioning is the breeze

The ground takes care of thirst

The need gets just deserves

War is overgrown

Skeletons are buildings made of bones

No one needs a home

No one walks alone

People don’t die in pain

Because people aren’t on the earth

...The dogs remain...

In the age of Aquarius

Canines rule the world

The water bowls are full

And we all play

The behavior is the evidence

The only thing that man

Left behind in canine lands

From yesterday

We’ll save the bones for Aquarius

We’ll need the dogs to bury

What’s left of us

They’ll forget where they hid

All the skeletons

Dogs don’t own closets to yell at them

Our remains will make friends

With all the cellophane

While mans best friend waits for home to

Come home again
